Shared collections

Share a collection.
Keep the library.

Twelve restaurants for a trip, forty references for a project. One collection becomes a link anyone can open, with no account and no app, and the rest of your library stays exactly as private as it was.

In short

A shared collection is one collection of yours published as a read-only page anyone can open without an account. The link carries a 128-bit random token, is marked no-index so it stays out of search results, and revoking it deletes the link rather than hiding it. Sharing is a Pro capability, per collection, and off until you turn it on.

One collection,
one link, one click back.

Sharing is per collection and off until you turn it on. There is no global switch and no "anyone with the link to your library".

  1. 01

    Pick the collection

Sharing is a property of one collection, never of your account. Everything outside it stays where it was, including the collections next to it in the sidebar.

  2. 02

    A link is minted

The URL carries a 128-bit random token, which is the only credential the page has. It is not derived from your name, the collection name or anything else guessable, and it is kept out of logs and analytics.

  3. 03

    Anyone can open it

No account, no install, nothing to sign up for. The page shows the saves in that collection, read-only, and nothing else about you or your library.

  4. 04

    Revoke it whenever

Turning sharing off deletes the link rather than hiding it, so an old URL someone kept can never come back to life. Sharing again mints a new one.

The shared page

The collection, and nothing else.

A share link is a window into one shelf, not a guest account.

Read-only, always

Visitors can look. There is nothing to edit, no way to add, and no comment box, on any plan.

Scoped to that collection

Your other collections, your notes, your inbox and your account are not reachable from the shared page in any way.

Kept out of search engines

Shared pages are marked no-index and no-follow, so a link you send to three people does not turn up in a search result.

One link per collection

A collection has at most one live link at a time, which is what makes revoking meaningful rather than a game of whack-a-mole.

Off by default

Nothing is public until you choose it. There is no default-on setting and no "share your whole library" option to switch off.

Dormant, not destroyed

If a Pro subscription ends, the link stops working rather than being deleted. Coming back to Pro brings the same URL back to life.

The limits

What a link is not.

Worth reading before you send one, because "read-only" and "secret" are different promises.

The link is the password

Anyone holding the URL can open the page. There is no per-person access, no email invite and no expiry date, so treat a link the way you would treat an unlisted document.

The whole collection, or none of it

You share a shelf, not a selection. Hiding three items inside a shared collection means moving them out of it first.

Pro only

Public share links are a Pro capability. On Free, collections stay private, which is also what happens to an existing link if a subscription lapses.

No two-way anything

There is no collaboration here: no shared editing, no comments, no suggestions from a visitor. If they want to keep something, they save it themselves.

The long version, including what is stored and where the AI sits, is on how it works.

Sharing is one collection deep, on purpose.

The collection is the unit of everything here: what the AI proposes, what a rule files into, what you export, and what you share. Getting the shelves right is what makes the link worth sending.

FAQ

Shared collections questions.

No. The shared page is read-only, with nothing to edit, add or comment on. It is a view of the collection and nothing more.

Remember everything.
Forget nothing.

Nemivo reads the caption on everything you save, writes the summary, adds the tags and files it away. Months later you ask for it in your own words.
