Where are my saved posts on Instagram?

Your saved posts are on your own profile, under the menu, in a section called Saved. Only you can see them. On the web they are at instagram.com/your-username/saved. Nobody is notified when you save their post.

How do you search your Instagram saved posts?

Instagram has no search over saved posts. The Saved screen has no search field on any platform, and the app’s main search box never looks at what you saved. The workarounds are collections, the browser’s find-on-page on desktop, or moving your saves somewhere that can be searched.

How do you see your oldest saved posts on Instagram?

Instagram shows saved posts newest first and gives you no way to reverse it. The only way to reach the oldest ones is to scroll to the very bottom of All posts, which loads in batches. There is no oldest-first setting, on the app or the web.

How do you export your Instagram saved posts?

There is no export button on the Saved screen. The route is Accounts Center → Your information and permissions → Export your information, where you can tick Saved on its own and ask for JSON. What arrives is a list of permalinks and the date you saved each one, with no captions and no images.

Why do you never go back to the things you save?

Because saving was designed and returning was not. A save stores a pointer, not the reason you saved it, and the platforms index words while you remember meaning. The gap between those two is why the folder grows and never gets read.

What is semantic search, and why does keyword search fail?

Semantic search matches meaning instead of spelling. Text is turned into numbers so that passages meaning similar things sit near each other, which is why a search for “knee pain from running” can find a caption that says “patellofemoral syndrome”. Keyword search compares letters, so it finds neither synonyms nor paraphrase.
