Every browser exports the same 1994 HTML file, and nothing opens it usefully. Drop it in and get a spreadsheet, a Markdown table or clean JSON, with the folders and dates intact.

This free tool converts the bookmarks.html file every browser exports into CSV, Markdown or JSON. Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari, Arc and Brave all write the same Netscape bookmark format, and it is parsed here in your own browser. Each row keeps the title, the URL, the full folder path and the date the bookmark was added.
How to get the file.
- Export from your browserChrome and Edge: Bookmarks → Bookmark manager → the ⋯ menu → Export bookmarks. Firefox: Bookmarks → Manage bookmarks → Import and Backup → Export to HTML. Safari: File → Export → Bookmarks.
- Drop the file inIt is read here, in this tab, by your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, and there is nothing to sign up for.
- Take the format you needCSV for a spreadsheet, Markdown for a notes app or a README, JSON for anything that reads JSON. Title, URL, folder and the date you saved it, in every one.
A CSV of your bookmarks is still a list of links.
That is the honest limit of this tool: it changes the format, not the problem. Nemivo reads what is on the other side of each link, writes a summary and tags, and lets you find it by describing it months later.
