This free tool turns Instagram’s own data download into a readable list of your saved posts. Ask Instagram for your information as JSON, open your_instagram_activity/saved/ and drop saved_posts.json here. It is read in your browser and comes back as CSV, Markdown or JSON with captions, links, creators, collections and dates. No login, no extension, nothing uploaded.
How to get the file.
- Ask Instagram for your dataInstagram app or web: Settings → Accounts Centre → Your information and permissions → Download your information. Choose JSON as the format. It arrives by email, usually within a day.
- Find the saved folderUnzip the download and open your_instagram_activity/saved/. You want saved_posts.json, and saved_collections.json too if you used named collections.
- Drop the files inBoth are read here in your own browser. You get a table you can check before downloading it as CSV, Markdown or JSON.
A spreadsheet of captions is not a library.
